My waitress Jinena is a total sweetheart! She was fun to talk to and took great care of me throughout the whole meal. Giovanni, one of the owners, greeted me as soon as I sat down and kept me engaged in conversation. He asked the Chef to prepare a special plate that was incredible! Still made room for dessert, which was 10 out of 10 like everything else!

Really enjoyed this little neighborhood place! Food was delicious and served hot and perfectly Al dente. Service was very attentive but not overbearing There are tables inside and outside with heaters if needed. Place was very busy on a Friday night!

I ordered takeout This place is legit. Small space , well decorated, nice patio as well. It's about as authentic as it gets . I had the rigatoni pollo and it was perfect. Service was great and everyone was very friendly.

I was really craving pasta, so we decided to check this place out on a Saturday night without a reservation. Luckily, they seated us right away! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing dinner. We ordered the calamari, truffle fries, Sofia Loren, and Linguini Positano, plus a couple of red wines, Chianti and Valpolicella Ripasso. Everything was fantastic! The creamy lobster sauce on the Sofia Loren was so good, and my boyfriend said it was the best squid ink pasta he's ever had. They were super generous with the seafood too. I can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes, definitely making a reservation next time though!

Fantastic real Italian food here. My wife and I ordered beef carpaccio, octopus something, short ribs and Sophia Loren. Everything was tasty and the portions are generous. The server lady Lauren was an amazing server. She would check on us frequently but not too often that we would feel interrupted, she made sure we were being well taken care of the whole time. One of the owners Giovanni came out to say hi to us at the end. The whole place was so welcoming and it was just so nice. We used a coupon of one free appetizer. We ended up ordering two appetizers. To our surprise, they took more pricy one out of our tab. I don't think this happens very often.

Mama mia... Man, there is no need to travel to Italy if all you want is to eat authentic Italian pasta. We are a big foody and let me tell you, this is the real deal. They make their pasta in house and you can taste the difference. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won't regret it!

This place is outstanding! Authentic Italian, all homemade - what more could you ask for?! The restaurant is owned by three Italian friends who are passionate about their craft and are excited to share their delicately curated cuisine with others. You can literally taste the dedication and passion! I had the Sofia Loren as my main, and oh wow, just *chef's kiss* I can't wait to go back and try more. This place does not disappoint!

Made a reservation here for Father's Day. Really was not necessary as it was not at all full, but thought it was a good idea nonetheless. Everything here was pretty much A+ flawless from start to finish. We were seated outside as requested and brought our dog and that was a total non-issue, not a problem at all. The patio outside is spacious and there is plenty of room for the tables-you don't feel crowded in at all. We started with some appetizers, including the bread with a tomato pesto dressing type thingy, prosciutto and melon, and calamari/fritto misto. The only slight let down here was the calamari, not all crispy, especially on the veggies, but still good. Moving on, I had the gamberoni, with a rich lobster and caper sauce and a side of spaghetti-succulent throughout, shrimp and pasta both cooked to perfection, filling without being overwhelming. The Pappardelle Salsiccia was also phenomenal-delicious sausage, beautiful pappardelle noodles, and a delicious sauce to hold it all together. We had Nutella Mia-cheesecake as one of our desserts, this one we could not stop eating. The Tiramisu is also a treat, and the Pistachio Gelato is fantastic. Deep nutty flavor, nothing artificial about it. Service is very gracious, always present, never overbearing. Bravo! This is a go to spot in my book now.

We absolutely loved our experience at this newish restaurant in San Juan Capistrano. First off, they carry one of my absolute favorite Cabernet Austin Hope . We started with the fresh tomato salad with fennel , Delish! And of course, their sourdough grilled bread with olive oil and a delicious pesto dipping sauce... But I have to say my favorite of the night was the octopus salad. It was so flavorful and prepared perfectly. . We decided to really go for it so we had the rigatoni cooked perfectly al dente and the Branzino , they were all so delicious. We did bring one of our favorite roses to start the evening off. They do have a $25 corkage fee. Not bad at all.. We were greeted with a smile, and we ended the evening with even bigger smiles as we walked out the door . You just gotta love that .... Plenty of free parking everywhere . This place gets very busy. It's not large so make a reservation.

If you're looking for authentic Italian food, come here! All the pastas are made in-house, using the freshest ingredients and everything is made to order. Came here for Mother's Day and they gave red roses and Ferrero Rocher to each mother. So sweet! Our server was even Italian and made excellent, honest suggestions. A bottle of DAOU Sauvignon Blanc was just about the same price as it is at DAOU winery, so the price point was right to get a couple! The light, crispness of the Sauvignon Blanc paired very well with our food selections. Our server described specials for the day, one being a golden beet and arugula salad with almonds and strawberries on top of a spread of creamy cheese and vinaigrette. It was a tart start! Gnocchi Cafone: Italian sausage, porcini & cremini mushroom in a rich parmigiano, black truffle sauce. Rich, hearty and full of truffle flavor. Tagliolini Limoncello: house made tagliolini ("g" is silent), shrimp, grape tomatoes, limoncello sauce, & topped white with arugula & parmigiano cheese. I was hoping for a little more zest, but it was good overall. Sofia Loren was the winner! The Paccheri pasta was perfectly al dente and the creamy lobster brandy sauce was to die for! The shrimp, grape tomatoes and bell peppers were well marinated in the sauce too. Hubby's parents got the Salmon & Pollo Limoncello entrees and cleaned the plates! We saved a little room to share the Delizia al Limoncello and it was the perfect bite to end the night. Light and not too sweet.
